9/8/03 My entire fall crop to date is 32 tomato plants. I am in the process of converting my old drip systems to trays filled with cypress chips. (See building trays for directions.)
Two week old transplants beginning to bloom
This is a close-up of fungi growing with a tomato plant in the cypress mulch. It doesn't hurt the plant and will be gone tomorrow.
Hot fall weather caused huge tomato plants with very few tomatoes. Cooler weather weather will allow tomatoes blossoms to set.
